1. Rajesh Pratap Singh and Urvashi Kaur
The magic of denims was revealed again. Rajesh focused on selvedge denim. The outfits were of various shapes and variety of apparels like trench coats, overalls, skirts and jackets.
Urvashi was playing with denim for the first time and her focal point was mix and match with other fabrics like malkha, linens and chanderi.
2. Aneeth Arora
The grass was definitely greener on this side of the fence and so was the fashion. With models carrying props like spray painted water cans and flowery headgears, the theme was true to its nature, that of a gardener tending the grassy runways.
Billow dresses and tops with gingham shorts along with hand stitched Nike sneakers were the show of the day. Colored beads and thread embroidery made their way along with sheer blouses.
3. Rohit Bal
The heritage site of Quli Khan, soaked in moonlight was a much deserved closure to the show and credit goes to Rohit. Along with Shubha Mudgal’s classic songs, silk thread embroidered rosettes, peonies and chrysanthemums on white blouses, velvet lehngas, mulmul and matka and Benaras brocadewas pretty much enchanting. Way to go Rohit!
4. Tarun Tahiliani
In collaboration with Amrit and Rabindra Singh, known as Singh twins, Traun presented digital print heavy pret collection. With DLF Emporio lawn at stage, a modish collection of drape dresses, bralets, shorts and skirts were making a swanky appearance.
With orange and pink shades decorating the stage and floral panels, the mesmerisation continued to the painting by twins being hung from the ceiling. It was blend of art and fashion and more art with more fashion.
